Tues/Wed (9/8,9/9): Rhetorical Devices and Speaking Skills: For our first block of the week, we will be revisiting our favorite rhetorical devices: Ethos|Pathos|Logos. There will be lecture, notes, and clips to help students develop a deeper, college-level understanding of these devices.
Students will have time during Noble Silence and at the end of class (time permitting) to work on preparing resources/outlines/evidence for the short-response essay portion of the test on 9/10,9/11.

Thurs/Fri (9/10,9/11): Test on The Road: For our second and last block of the week, we will wrap up our time with The Road in a reading analysis test. Students should expect a multiple choice section followed by a short answer response section. Time remaining can be used for group to work on their Da Vincipocalypse presentations due the following week.

REMINDER: Ms. Martinez and Mr. Stoll will be at Trash 4 Teaching on Saturday, Sept. 12th from 9am to 12pm. Send one person from your group to come load up on supplies to build your prototype/shelter with!
