Wed/Thurs (9/20,9/21): Microfiction and the Survival Diary: For our second block of the week, we will read short story called "Barbie-Q" to gain an understanding of what makes for a good microfiction. The overview for the Survival Diary, as well as other requirements for the Shelter Building project, can be found under "Phase 2 Overview" on the Unit I Project page. See above for the link.

After the introduction of the Survival Diary, students will have time to brainstorm their diary entries. It is at the end of class that students will also get more information about the DaVincipocalypse campout, and will receive the permission slip for the campout.
Permission slips are due in class on Tuesday, 9/27.
