---Stoll Mon (9/4): No School - Labor Day Tues/Wed (9/5,9/6): Enter the Da Vincipocalypse: For our first class of the week, we will start by answering some questions about the fourth section of The Road (pg. 129-175). If you were absent, please see a classmate for notes! After the section 4 Q&A, we will have time to complete Peer Reviews on TurnItIn.com. After the section 5 Q&A, we will have time to work in our groups on our Da Vincipocalypse project. We'll go over group roles and expectations, establish the foundation of the details for each group's apocalyptic scenario, and see some student examples from previous years. NOTE: The English 12 Honors informational meeting was on Tuesday (9/5) @ lunch. Students interested in English 12 Honors should click the "Honors" tab above to see a PDF detailing the first assignment due 9/12. This diagnostic report is required for students wishing to do honors this year. If you were absent, please see a classmate for notes! After the section 1 Q&A, we will discuss the overview for our first project of the year: the Da Vincipocalypse. Students are placed in their groups and then have time to meet for the first time to discuss group roles, responsibilities, and the subject of their apocalyptic scenario.
