Mon/Tues (10/08 & 10/09): Intro to Shakespeare & Elizabethan England: For our first block period of the week, we are doing a college-style lecture class reviewing and expanding the information shared in the video immersion activity from last week. Wed/Thurs (10/10 & 10/11): Macbeth, Act I, scene i-iii: For our second block period of the week, we are jumping right into our Shakespearean play: Macbeth. In class, we will cover how to read the script properly, how do to a Golden Lines style analysis, and a general overview of the play. Friday (10/12): *SPECIAL SCHEDULE* Passions and Side Hustles with a visiting Yoga Teacher!: On Friday, we will have a special schedule featuring visitors from a well-known social media outlet. Friday (8/31): Project Kick-off - What Would You Do: Breaking Social Norms Project: For our last period of the week, we are joing forces with the Psychology teacher Mrs. Naymark to roll out our first interdisciplinary project of the year! As a part of the kickoff event, Stoll and Naymark demonstrate what breaking a social norm looks like, we form groups, we discuss the overview, and then begin the process of brainstorming.
